The Silver Naga is a 3 star Hotel in Vang Vieng, Laos, with strong community and environmental values.  We are currently recruiting for a general manager to manage our 84 room facility by the Nam Song River. It’s a wonderful opportunity in a beautiful, unique environment with the potential for career advancement within our new 50 room hotel 100 meters down the river (currently under construction).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.

• Manage 25-35 staff across the daily operations of the hotel.
• Provide effective leadership to the team and team members to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure that budgetary and operation processes are consistently maintained.
• Plan and direct the main operations including quality, standard, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular operations meeting with the team to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets and guest feedback.
• Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Thai (or Lao).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• 3-5 years of experience in the hotel services industry.
• Knowledgeable of hotel operating policies and procedures.
